Leaf Work
Through out the ages leaf work has been used to embellish and decorate ironwork. Steel or iron is first heated and forged into a blank and then the blank is repetitively heated and hammered using different tools and formers until the desired shape is achieved. This process allows the blacksmith to refine the shapes of leaves or flowers and really make them look as genuine and beautiful as possible.
