Bespoke Lizard Handles
I was asked to design and make some “old folks” handles to make it easier to get in and out of the house. The only thing the clients said was she wanted them to be strong functional and not look like “old folk” handles. After much discussion she decided she wanted them to look like lizards running up the wall. So behold the lesser spotted Yorkshire wall lizard! 
Each lizard was individually hand forged and detailed including the scales, eyes and feet and was installed using pins drilled into the walls and chem-fix. They were a huge challenge but i was very pleased with the end result and luckily the client was over the moon with them. I have since been informed that the grandparents approve of them also and they have made there lives a little bit easier.
