Bowls Ball Snail Sculpture
I was given the challenge of turning a really nice old bowls balls into a sculpture. I thought about it for a few days and decided to keep it simple and keep the ball the main feature and just essentially forge a piece that complimented the lines and style of the ball. I eventually decided that the ball would be a snails shell and forged and textured a piece of steel to create a snails body. The client was very pleased with the new lease of life I had given his bowls ball and so was I.
